Kevin Hou is Managing Director of JLL Taiwan and leads the firm’s strategic initiatives and expansion, building on his extensive experience in real estate advisory and strategic consulting.
Kevin’s distinguished career and commitment to innovation continue to position him as a leader in shaping the future of real estate in Taiwan.
Prior to his current appointment, Kevin served as Senior Director and Head of Strategic Consulting at JLL Taiwan. Since joining JLL in 1999, he has been at the forefront of the Strategic Consulting business, overseeing more than 200 advisory projects and contributing to a cumulative transaction value exceeding $6.7 billion. Under his leadership, the Strategic Consulting team in Taiwan has maintained over 45% market share for ten consecutive years and achieved steady annual revenue growth of 5–10% from 2018 to 2022.
In his role as Head of Strategic Consulting, Kevin was responsible for developing the overall business vision and strategic growth plans for the Taipei-based business unit covering the entire Taiwan region. His expertise spans a diverse range of projects, including highest and best use feasibility studies, government tendering for land development, malls, multiplexes, integrated townships, portfolio valuations, market research and comprehensive real estate assessments. Kevin’s deep industry knowledge and strong relationships with government officials and corporate decision-makers have been critical in driving the firm’s success.
Kevin holds a master’s in urban planning & real estate from the University of Southern California and an EMBA from National Taiwan University.
