George Thomas is the Global Chief Information Officer at JLL and a member of the JLL Technologies (JLLT) executive leadership team. He leads JLL's enterprise IT, strategy, cybersecurity, and operations across more than 80 countries, overseeing a global workforce exceeding 110,000.
In his role, George is responsible for driving JLL's digital transformation, implementing innovative technology solutions, and ensuring robust cybersecurity measures across the company's diverse global operations. He plays a crucial role in leveraging technology to enhance JLL's service offerings and operational efficiency.
George joined JLL with more than 20 years of experience in technology and data. Prior to JLL, he held global leadership positions at General Electric and HSBC, where he spearheaded digital transformation initiatives across industrial, commercial, and consumer markets. His expertise spans the United States, Europe, and Asia, giving him a truly global perspective on developing technology strategy and implementing them.
Throughout his career, George has focused on future-proofing business operations through innovative technology and data solutions. His experience in developing and implementing cutting-edge digital strategies has been instrumental in driving growth and efficiency in retail, financial services and commercial real estate sectors.
George is an alumnus of Kerala University in India, the University of Louisville in Kentucky, and Stanford University's Graduate School of Business.
Beyond his technological pursuits, George harbors a lifelong passion for tennis. He first picked up a racket at age 6 and turned professional at 16, competing for several years before prioritizing his higher education. Despite his demanding career, he still manages to indulge in a weekly match, keeping his love for the sport alive.
