Brad Gries became LaSalle’s Chief Executive Officer in January 2026. He is responsible for strategic leadership of LaSalle’s global organization, focusing on delivering attractive, risk-adjusted investment performance for LaSalle clients, while also driving growth for the platform. Specifically, his role is focused on the growth and development of investment strategies that will deliver superior risk adjusted performance, driving effective and efficient operational activities, and developing a deep bench of talent that aligns with the LaSalle values and culture across the global footprint – North America, Asia Pacific, Europe and Global Solutions. Brad chairs LaSalle’s Global Management Committee, which is responsible for formulating strategy and operational excellence across the firm. He is a voting member of all LaSalle Investment Committees. Previously, Brad served as Head of the Americas in 2024 and 2025 and Co-Head of the region from 2021 to 2024. He joined LaSalle in 2017 as Head of Transactions and Co-Chief Investment Officer for the Americas.
Prior to joining LaSalle, Brad held leadership positions over the course of a 16-year career with the real estate investment arm of DWS, most recently serving as Managing Director, Real Estate Transactions. In this role, he led the acquisition team responsible for new investment initiatives in the Central and Southeastern United States, including investments in a wide array of property types and across the risk spectrum, including structured transactions and joint ventures. Before DWS, Brad held analyst and consultant positions at MB Real Estate and Arthur Andersen.
Brad earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Illinois – Urbana Champaign.
