As Business Operations Manager at JLL Netherlands, Shirley Onsod has been on a remarkable journey within the organization since 2015. She has worked across different teams and roles, with her career marked by growth, independence, and the ability to collaborate effectively on diverse projects - from internal office needs to innovative initiatives that enrich the business with data, technology, and AI.
As a member of the Leadership Team Netherlands (LTN) and Management Team, Shirley serves as a vital link between the Dutch and global organization. In this role, she champions Dutch interests while working to create a work environment that emphasizes JLL's core values: teamwork, ethics, and excellence. She plays a central role as the main contact point for support activities in the Netherlands and acts as initiator and chair of the Business Support Board.
In an increasingly international organization, Shirley, a true Amsterdammer at heart, recognizes the importance of maintaining local connections and Dutch identity. This is reflected in her additional activities within JLL, where she actively serves as the Dutch ambassador for Culture and Employee Experience. She is also a strong advocate for sustainability and volunteer initiatives.
Before joining JLL, Shirley built valuable experience in the hospitality industry, working at a prominent five-star hotel in the center of Amsterdam. This background shaped her excellent service-oriented and communication skills, which she applies daily in her current role at JLL.
