Selina Short is Chief Executive Officer for Australia and New Zealand, driving growth and innovation in one of the world's most dynamic real estate markets. She leads the business to deliver sustainable, technology-enabled solutions that create lasting value for clients and communities.
Selina joined JLL in 2026, bringing extensive leadership experience across real estate and professional services. Throughout her career, she has championed the principle that investing in people and fostering inclusive, high-performance cultures unlocks the full potential of teams and drives sustainable business success.
Previously, Selina spent 17 years at EY, where she completed her tenure as Clients & Industries Managing Partner and a member of the firm's Oceania Executive Leadership Team. In this role, she led EY's growth strategy, major client relationships, and thought leadership across the region. She also led EY's Built Environment and Resources practice across Oceania.
Earlier in her career, Selina worked in global capital markets at DTZ in London, shaping her understanding of risk, cycles, and disciplined execution.
A central focus for Selina has been using data, analytics, and AI to support better outcomes in the built environment. She has led initiatives applying advanced analytics and automation to improve decision-making, productivity, and asset performance.
She currently serves on the Board of the Green Building Council of Australia and is a member of the Property Champions of Change Coalition.
