Current Responsibilities
As Senior Vice President within the Singapore Advisory team, Kai Siang is primarily focused on operator selections & management contract negotiations in South-East Asia and Korea and strong knowledge of hotel operating terms and agreements.
Experience
At JLL, he has been focused on delivering long-term value to clients in Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, Indonesia, Maldives, Malaysia, Vietnam, South Korea, and Japan - including high-profile projects such as NoMad Singapore, Ascott Shenton Way Singapore, Noku Maldives - a Vignette Collection hotel. Besides operator selection, he partners with hotel operators on developing their growth strategies, identifying business challenges and analysis of market dynamics for new markets.
Prior to joining JLL, Kai Siang was the Development Lead at Frasers Hospitality and The Ascott Limited, responsible for the growth of the company’s portfolio in South-East Asia via real estate investments, management agreements and platform acquisitions.
Education and Affiliations
Kai Siang completed a four-year Double Degree in Accountancy and Business (Marketing) at Nanyang Technological University. He completed the Chartered Valuer & Appraiser Programme issued by Institue of Valuers & Appraisers, Singapore (IVAS).
