Current Responsibilities
As Global Lead, Asset Advisory and Services, of JLL, Mark Wynne Smith leads a team of market and product experts that advise leading global real estate investor clients. The team use a data driven approach to deliver strategies that empower clients to navigate complex CRE investment challenges and optimize asset and portfolio returns through unparalleled expertise, data driven intelligence and integrated solutions. The core team of strategists, credit experts and asset management service experts partner with other JLL research, leasing, transaction and M&A teams to deliver consistent advice focused on future performance across the core and alternative asset classes.
Experience
A 25+ year advisory track record in the Hotel and Hospitality sector culminated in Mark leading JLL’s global sector team for 12 years and, in turn, advising on over $15 billion of asset, portfolio and corporate transactions and maintaining a No1 global market share. Mark’s recent leadership has extended to leading JLL’s International Capital team, the Funds Advisory team and most recently, he was the CEO of JLL’s Value and Risk platform which required bringing 40+ geographically diverse teams with 2,000 team members in to a single platform to deliver consistent valuation advice to global investors and lenders. His current role enables him to draw on his deep understanding of global real estate markets and trends to provide solutions to clients.
