Anny Zhang is the Chief Executive Officer of JLL China. Based in Shanghai, she leads JLL’s strategic development and business operations in the Chinese Mainland market, with responsibility of accelerating the firm’s market core leadership position by driving growth, deepening client relationships and ensuring operational excellence in this priority market.
Anny was appointed CEO for China in September 2024. Since joining JLL in 2007, she has built a distinguished career marked by consistent progression through the organization. Prior to this role, she served as Head of JLL China’s Leasing Advisory business and Managing Director, East China.
Anny brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise in managing landmark projects and building long-standing relationships with key occupiers, developers, investors, and government bodies across the country. Over the past decade, she has developed and led the industry’s most respected leasing team, achieving exceptional results and contributing to JLL’s rapid growth in China.
Anny is passionate about realizing women’s potential in the workplace. Throughout her career, she has demonstrated a commitment to integrating diversity, equality, and inclusion into every aspect of the company’s culture and operations and fostering the holistic development of team members.
Complementing her management responsibilities, Anny has been actively driving JLL’s digital transformation, dedicating herself to empowering commercial real estate services through technology. In 2020, under her leadership, JLL launched the industry-leading DichanDadang (DCDD) platform, which is committed to fostering technological innovation and advancement across the office leasing industry, maintaining a unique competitive advantage in the market to this day. In 2022, Anny spearheaded the implementation and application of the JPI platform, leveraging AI and data to empower asset management. The platform has since become a trusted decision-making tool for numerous leading real estate developers and institutional investors.
In recognition of her professional achievements and industry leadership, Anny was named one of the “Lujiazui Top 10 Youth Elites” by the Shanghai Lujiazui Financial City Council in 2021. Anny is also a member of the Advisory Board for the NYU Stern - NYU Shanghai Master of Science Programs 2026-2028, actively engaging in industry-academia exchanges, and providing industry insights and professional support for the program’s development and students’ career practices.
Anny holds a bachelor’s degree in finance from East China Normal University and a Bachelor’s degree in Law from East China University of Political Science and Law.
